Anthony "Ant" Vaughn is a Year 11 student at Hartley High. He is a down-to-earth jokester with strict religious parents. His best friend is Spider and Ant is romantically interested in Harper. He was also friends with Dusty before he left Hartley. Ant is portrayed by Brodie Townsend.

Season 1
"Map B**ch"[]
Ant is first seen getting distracted during basketball when Darren passes by in the gym. Later we see him standing with Dusty and Spider before school starts as Amerie, Sasha, and Missy walk by. Ant is a part of the crowd of students who visit the hallway to view the sex-map drawn by Amerie and Harper. Ant is shown to have gotten a ‘wristy’ from Darren and he seems ashamed as Spider and Dusty clown him for it.
Later he can be seen witnessing the fight between Harper and Amerie in the gymnasium, filming it all on his phone. He is one of the students called over the loudspeaker by Woodsy to attend SLTs. He taunts Ca$h when he enters the class along with Dusty and Spider. He goofs around with Spider while JoJo tries to introduce SLTs initiative. He then blames Amerie for the existence of SLTs, throwing a crumpled piece of paper at her. He is one of the students that avoid shaking Ameries hand during the first activity.
Ant is seen at the graveyard party hanging with Spider and Dusty, staring at Amerie as she walks in uninvited. At the end of the night, he is one of the party goers who begins running from the cops. Later, Dusty reveals Ant was the only one caught by the police that night and was let off with a warning.
"Renaissance Titties"[]
He can be seen socializing with Malakai, Dusty, and Spider as Amerie talks about getting slap-bands for Dusty’s party. Later that day Amerie comes up to Ant in the hall and asks for a slap-band. Ant says he isn’t gonna sell her one because she wrote that he got a wristy from Darren and his mother found out. He emphasizes that now his mom is making him go to church even more than before. Amerie says she’s really sorry but Ant doesn’t budge and tells her she needs to talk to Spider instead.
Later, Ant can be seen joking while watching the educational video in SLTs with the rest of the students. He piggy-backs off of a comment Sasha makes about nudity being a part of history by exclaiming “renaissance titties” to the class - which gets a chuckle out of everyone. At the end of class he says “this class sucks” to JoJo’s face and she seems visibly sad about it. Ant’s mom is the leading parent behind the concerns of the students' sexual education at Hartley.

After school, Harper is riding her bike home when she rides by Ant’s house. He asks why she’s in the neighborhood and Harper says she’s staying at a friend’s place (temporary foster parents) before sitting down with him. He offers her a THC gummy and she accepts. Ant asks her why she shaved her head and Harper asks why he’s chilling outside. Ant explains he’s avoiding his mom who is still mad about him getting a handjob from Darren. He questions if Harper is also mad at Amerie too; he then expresses how it’s ‘fucked up’ Amerie wrote the incest map, not knowing Harper was directly involved.
Ant is seen participating in an activity in SLTs. He can then be seen later that night in the crowd with Malakai at Dusty’s party for his band.
"Eetsway"[]
Before school, Ant and Malakai question Amerie’s sanity from afar as she participates in the group-laugh with the Haha Club. Later, he is seen in SLTs making jokes with Spider at JoJo’s expense. He is paired with Spider, Dusty, Missy, Malakai, and Amerie for the group project. Ant is a part of the dick-joke conversation between the group that causes Amerie to slap herself, making everyone stare at her awkwardly.
Ant is seen drinking a soda while Spider and Malakai work out and talk about Amerie. When Malakai throws up from lifting, Ant laughs at him in disbelief. After Spider leaves the workout room, he asks Malakai if he’s good- but doesn’t get a response.
"Rack Off"[]
Ant is in the locker room with the basketball team when Dusty and Spider grill Malakai about hooking up with Amerie. When Malakai admits they had sex, Ant begins teasing Malakai about not wearing a condom and having to ‘pull out’; amongst other lewd remarks. The coach comes into the locker room and yells at the boys to get on the court.

Later, he can be seen in SLTs participating in the self defense activity with the other boys. The cop-in-training assigns him to do push ups and Ant tries to show off by doing a lot of them. When the class rejoins he can be seen shaking his head in disapproval when Spider makes a condom joke towards Malakai and Amerie.
The night of the Slay Ball he can be seen in line dressed-up and socializing with Sasha and Missy before the group enters the club. He is seen dancing and enjoying himself with his friends the entire night. Ant sits on the curb with everyone and witnesses Malakai get assaulted by the cop, managing to catch a video of it on his phone. He grabs Malakai off the ground and helps him run to safety. When Amerie asks if anyone in the group has a video, Ant sends what he recorded to Amerie. After the group all yell at Spider for victim-blaming Malakai, he is seen shaking his head in disgust.
"Bin Chicken"[]
Ant is seen sitting with Spider during the class assembly, making disrupting comments. Later in SLTs, Dusty jokes that Ant has a porn addiction. When students are listing things they want; Ant genuinely admits he wants his father to be proud of him. After school, Ant is seen at basketball practice with Spider and Malakai. He is one of the boys Malakai sees in the showers during the locker room scene. Sometime later Harper comes over Dusty’s place, Ant is seen playing video games with him and Spider. He heavily trash-talks Dusty while they play the game.
The next day in SLTs, Ant is seen not taking the assignment seriously - yet again. He is a part of the group that gets detention for the altercation in SLTs between Malakai and Spider. At the end of the episode he can be seen with the rest of the basketball team when Malakai quits and Harper calls out Dusty.
"Angeline"[]
Ant is in SLTs seen participating in the group activity in the gym when Spider and JoJo have an argument. Later in the day he asks Spider, Dusty, and Malakai if they’re getting costumes for Amerie’s party; stating he would look ‘pretty sick’ as the Grim Reaper. Malakai, Spider, and Dusty begin arguing while Ant just stays silent.

During Amerie’s party he is seen to be dressed up as the Grim Reaper as Malakai does a backflip for the crowd. Later, he irresponsibly suggests a very drunk Malakai (who is on the roof) to jump down to the trampoline below. He stands with Spider as Jai and Missy drag an inebriated Malakai out of the party. An annoyed Dusty snaps at both him and Spider for suggesting they have an after-party at Ant’s house.
"The Sheriff"[]
Ant is outside with the rest of SLTs as they all question who is framing JoJo for allegedly assaulting Amerie. The next day he is seen with Darren, Quinni, Dusty, and Spider as they watch Harper and Amerie publicly fight. He is in SLTs later that day and asks a dumb question, causing Woodsy to tease him for his lack of intelligence. He is visibly disgusted during Woodsy’s presentation about STI’s.
He actively participates in the protest over the resignation of JoJo, taunting Woodsy through the window of her office. Ant’s mother is seen in the crowd of adults outside the protest. He makes a comment about Amerie’s mom being scarier than his - but when his mother comes on the megaphone and begins yelling at him he tries to leave the protest. Spider stops Ant from leaving the protest a few times; this implies he is very afraid of his mother. Later, Ant is seen partying with others and then eating a combination of snacks that make Amerie call him disgusting. Spider then comments that the protest better be done in the morning because Ant won’t be able to last much longer.

The next morning, Amerie is upset with Ant when they find a dehydrated Missy. Supposedly, Ant was in-charge of getting drinks for the protest and only bought juice. This prompts him and Amerie to sneak out of the window to get the group some water. As the two of them sneak around campus he requests they stop at the bathrooms. When they turn the corner they’re met by the janitor who they silly-string in the face. The janitor then chases them both down. They eventually end up in a closet where Ant is in pain over holding in his bowel movement. He suggests it's karma from God, implying he did something very bad. Suddenly, he sees a picture of Jesus hanging on a cabinet, he farts and falls to his knees and apologizes to Jesus for what he did. Amerie kicks him and asks ‘what he did’ and Ant admits he was the one that called in the tip about JoJo allegedly assaulting Amerie. He admits “they” didn’t think it would go this far and were just trying to get SLTs canceled. Amerie questions who the others involved were and Ant reveals it was Dusty and Spider. He then confirms it was all Dusty who orchestrated the plan, much to Amerie’s surprise.
"Three of Swords"[]
Ant is seen at Hartley with Dusty and Spider while Malakai, Quinni, Darren, Amerie, and Harper talk about them and what they did to JoJo. He is later seen in SLTs when Woodsy reintroduces JoJo as the teacher of the class. JoJo makes a joke at his, Dusty, and Spider's expense and then announces the three of them are now her assistants.
The next day, Ant is seen in SLTs with the rest of the class when Ca$h admits his love for Darren before getting dragged away by the cops.
Season 2
Ant brings weed gummies to school and eats them all , causing him to have a breakdown and being sent to the nurse.
After the football match between the SLTs and the Cumlords and after he is tackled by Harper, who experiences a flashback during the game, he is in the nurse's office again and Harper eventually joins him to talk to him. They end up kissing.
