Jon Pollard portrays Alan Bolton in 59 episodes of Heartbreak High.
Pollard was 19 years old when he began filming the show, 2 years older than his character. He went to Beacon Hill High School with Alexandra Brunning and Callan Mulvey. He and Mulvey were part of Australia's first professional rollerblading team Manly Blades Aerial Assault Squad, and appeared together in the 1995 documentary The Bottom Line with skateboarder Tony Hawk.
He was written off Heartbreak High in 1997, during a cast shake-up.
He is one of many former Heartbreak High cast members to guest star on Wildside (1998), also created by Michael Jenkins and starring Tony Martin and Alex Dimitriades.
